DORKING & DISTRICT DART LEAGUE

SUMMER LEAGUE 2010

The summer league will start on Tuesday 8th June.

23 teams have entered the Summer League this year. There will be only two groups this year. Teams will play each other in a "round robin" style once. The top four teams in each group will qualify for the Summer League Trophy Competition. Teams placed 5th  to 8th in each group will qualify for the Summer League Consolation Trophy.  Teams finishing 9th, 10th and 11th  will play for the “Summer Spoon” Knockout round details will be announced in due course.

World Cup:- The only England game that can fall on a Tuesday is if England win their group and reach the semi-final. So rather than cancel games, this Tuesday will have no fixtures. Other matches will have to be watched whilst playing.

7. If a team is struggling for players the must do all they can to field a side especially if they are playing away for home. Anybody who has not played is allowed.  Even if they have never played darts before, they may enjoy it!

8. If a side withdraws from the Summer League, that team \ pub will not be allowed to enter next year’s summer league.

9. Food:- We are always asked “do we have to do food for the Summer League”, The answer is it is not compulsory, but we would like home teams to provide some if they can. It is appreciated by teams and they will probably stay longer and buy an extra round of drinks.
